I just discovered several early nineties videos at dailymotion, uploaded by tanguito94. If I’m not mistaken, this is filmed at the now defunct milonga El Akarense. In addition to this one with Rodolfo & Maria Cieri from 1994, there is one with Pupi & Graciela, Pepito & Gilda and Stella Barba & Victor Romero.

You know the milongas; the Cieris were filmed in Akarense. I was there only once shortly before it closed. Ruben Dario Lopez was the deejay at the time of filming. Their style is appreciated for its creativity on the part of the man who does more things than the woman. I only saw them once in Salon Leonesa and never social dancing at a milonga. Maria is still teaching.
I met Victor Romero and Norma Galli two weeks ago for the first time at Glorias Argentinas. She asked if I would like to dance with him. I got out of it somehow. I didn’t think I would be able to handle his style. I haven’t danced all those figures for years.
