After a break of almost two years, I’m djing again this Weekend. I must say I look forward to it, knowing I will like the music at the milonga is always nice 
I got so much new music that I’m eager to use. While setting up my computer again (which was reinstalled after a breakdown a year ago) and doing some preparations, I listened to some of my favorite music, which was really nice, too. I have been listening to so much 20s and early 30s stuff lately that I almost forgot how great the classics from the 40s are…

Where are you playing? (I’m assuimg out of London so I can’t feasibly go, but I love the early stuff, it’s my favourite to dance to really – I like the balance and clarity, the scale somehow suits me).
@TP Thanks. Yes it can be refreshing, but it can also be too much at times.
@Ms H: This is in my local community. Out of London is a bit of an understatement. You’d have to enter the Schengen area

Some of the early stuff is very nice, and it can impose a nice tranquility that I like.
Well it’s a good deal less hassle for me to enter the Schengen area than it is to go to Totnes
